How painfull is it to watch the Vikings? Even if they win, I still feel sick. It's because Childress is a "systems" guy - it's all about his system. But the reality is that football is about match-ups, not systems. Players are NOT interchangeable ... look at the NY Jets - look what Farve has done with them. If Farve was on the Vikings, Chilly wouldn't let Farve be Farve - he wouldn't be allowed to audible and do all of the crazy things that Farve does that win games. A good coach, boss, manager, etc ... figures out how to put people in the correct spots and let them do their deal ... bad coaches try to turn people into robots. If you can set Adrian Peterson free, he's unstoppable - but if you use him like he's any other back, he's good, but not unbelievable. The Vikings are a VERY talented football team with a coach who does everything he can to minimize their talent.
